Painting in oil 1986. This was for my first or second painting class. This was done from a photo taken of Trim Castle in Ireland. A friend and I went to England and Ireland one summer for about twenty days. The things you can do when you are in college. To do that now, I would have to hit the lottery.

The image is about as close as I got. The tour bus stopped, everyone got out, took pictures, and were then hurried back onto the bus. Seventeen years later I would get the chance to actually see the castle up close.
